Locality Guide

Location Description

Palm Beach is 35 km north of the Sydney CBD and the Eastern Suburbs. The area is well populated, with a wide variety of houses on offer (from glorified holiday cottages to veritable mansions) nestled amongst the bushy slopes that rise steeply from the ocean side of the peninsula.

A Palm Beach address, particularly during the summer holidays, is de rigeur in some Sydney social and business circles.

Palm Beach Golf Course and its renowned clubhouse on Barrenjoey Road are major drawcards, while Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club attracts a younger crowd.
